Brand Identity
Home to a collection of over 30,000 works, the Milwaukee Art Museum is one of the largest museums in the United States. Known for its striking architecture and diverse collection of fine art, the MAM is an institution deserving of branding that is bold and distinctive.

This project explores a full brand identity system, beginning with a logo built around an abstract MAM lettermark where the second M is partially hidden, a decision that became the conceptual foundation for the rest of the project. That decision inspired a poster campaign and informed the larger system of patterns, print, wayfinding, and signage.
