Madison College
Interactive Mural
As part of my internship with the Marketing and Communications Dept., I designed and led art direction for an interactive mural. The goal was to create a piece that encouraged student interaction, through coloring parts of the mural or contributing written reflections. The final design featured icons relating to Madison College, centered around the college's advertising campaign tagline, "There's More to Your Story."
The design process began with digitally arranging a mix of existing Madison College icons, custom illustrations, and select stock iconography into a layout inspired by coloring-book line art. After the concept was approved, the artwork was projected onto the wall, traced in pencil, and completed with black paint. Colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department, along with other volunteers, contributed to the completion of the mural.
